If you arrive at the delivery location and there is a dog on the premises, we ask drivers to put their safety first.
If the recipient is home, please call them and ask them to come to the door/gate.
Recipient not home:
If the recipient is not home and you don't feel safe entering the premises, please do everything possible to try and deliver the item:
- Call the recipient:
Ask what they would like to do, can you deliver to neighbour or different address?
- Call the client:
If the recipient doesn't answer or you do not have their number, contact the client and see if they can get ahold of the client or ask what they would like you to do.
- Contact Sherpa (Chat/Call)
If you cannot get ahold of either the recipient or client, please contact us and we will assist you.
