As a business you may choose to either display Sherpa's delivery rates to your customers as-is, or have custom customer-facing delivery rates based on their distance (i.e. the delivery location) from the store/pick up location.
Follow the steps below to set up different delivery rates to display on checkout.
- Under the Settings section, click on ‘Manage Settings’.
- In the 'Delivery Rates' section, select the delivery option that you want to make available to your customers.
- Click on 'Add Rate' to define a different rate per radius.
- Calculated Rates - delivery rates charged to customers will be a sum total of Sherpa’s delivery cost and the specified % and/or $ amount margin. If the margin is left empty, the customer will see Sherpa's delivery price without changes.
- Flat Rate - define different flat rate prices by radius / distance from the pickup location. These are the prices that are displayed to the customer instead of Sherpa's dynamic delivery prices.
- No Rate - does not give the customer any delivery options for this radius.
- Calculated Rates - delivery rates charged to customers will be a sum total of Sherpa’s delivery cost and the specified % and/or $ amount margin. If the margin is left empty, the customer will see Sherpa's delivery price without changes.
- Click 'Save Settings' to save your changes.
